Carman McClelland

John Carman McClelland (born September 22, 1951) is a former politician in Ontario, Canada. He was a Liberal member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1987 to 1995. McClelland moved to Canada at a young age, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree York University and a law degree from the University of Windsor. Before entering political life, he practised law as an associate at the firm of Fogler, Rubinoff, Toronto. He was also a board member of the Canadian Council of Christian Charities. In 1995, he resumed his legal practice and is now a member and VP of the Peel Law Association Executive Committee.
