Charles H. Taylor

Charles Hart Taylor (born January 21, 1941) is an American politician; a Republican, he represented North Carolina's 11th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives. He began serving in 1991 and continued through January 3, 2007. Taylor was born in Brevard, North Carolina. He attended Wake Forest University, where he received his BA in 1963 and his law degree (Juris Doctor) from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1966. He operates a cattle farm in Brevard, several tree farms around Western North Carolina, and is also involved in banking.
