Choji Akimichi

is a fictional character in the anime and manga series Naruto. "Choji" means "butterfly (Cho-)" and "the second son (-ji)" added together. Butterflies are insects known to eat sweets. Ironically enough, slim Ino has a name meaning "boar" and plump Choji is a "butterfly". Choji also manifests butterfly wings made of chakra after eating the third red pill during his fight against Jirobo. Given that his normal hairstyle creates two caterpillar-like protrusions to match his grub-like body, this is likely all part of a metaphor about metamorphosis.
