Chong Gene Hang College

Chong Gene Hang College (CGHC, ￥ﾤﾩ￤ﾸﾻ￦ﾕﾙ￥ﾖﾇ￦ﾲﾙ￦ﾜﾃ￥ﾼﾵ￦ﾌﾯ￨ﾈﾈ￤ﾼﾉ￥ﾄﾷ￦ﾛﾸ￩ﾙﾢ) is a subsidized grammar school established in 1971. It is Lasallian schools in Chai Wan of Hong Kong; like other La Salle College, St. Joseph's College it was founded and conducted by De La Salle Brothers. The school was named after an American Chinese philanthropic couple, Mr. Chong Gene Hang and his wife. Chong Gene Hang was born in Kwangtung Province. Some forty years ago, he joined his brother in America in the laundry business. Later he set up his own laundry business in Boston where he worked extremely hard, lived simply and saved every dollar.
