Christchurch North

Christchurch North is a former New Zealand Parliamentary electorate. The electorate was in the northern suburbs of Christchurch, New Zealand. The electorate existed three times: It was held by three Premiers or Prime Ministers, Julius Vogel (1884 to 1889), Sidney Holland and Mike Moore. Vogel successfully contested the 1884 election against John Crewes. From 1881 to 1890, Christchurch North was represented by three MPs: From 1905 to 1946, Christchurch North was represented by five MPs: From 1984 to 1996, Christchurch North was represented by one MP:
