Stanley Clinton Davis, Baron Clinton-Davis, PC (born 6 December 1928) is a British politician belonging to the Labour Party. Clinton Davis was educated at Hackney Downs School, the Mercers' School, and at King's College London where he graduated in Law in 1950. He later became a solicitor. Clinton Davis was elected as Member of Parliament for Hackney Central at the 1970 general election and held the seat until it was abolished in boundary changes for the 1983 general election. Clinton Davis was a junior minister for Trade during the 1974–1979 Labour government.
