Corinna Tsopei

Kiriaki "Corinna" Tsopei (Greek: Κυριακή Κορίνα Τσοπέη; born June 21, 1944) is a beauty pageant winner and actress. In 1964, Tsopei became the first Greek winner of the Miss Universe pageant. On June 20, 1964, Corinna was crowned Miss Star Hellas, (Greek: Μις Σταρ Ελλάς), and moved on to represent Greece at the 1964 Miss Universe pageant in Miami, Florida. She beat out Miss Israel, Miss Great Britain and Miss Sweden to be crowned Miss Universe, bringing the title to Greece for the first time. She has since returned several times to judge the pageant.
