Council

Council is a city in and the county seat of Adams County, Idaho, United States. The population was 839 at the 2010 census. Council is located at 44°43′48″N 116°26′10″W / 44.73°N 116.43611°W / 44.73; -116.43611 (44.730083, -116.436213). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.7 square miles (1.8 km), all of it land. As of the census of 2000, there were 816 people, 339 households, and 223 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,121.5 people per square mile (431.6/km²).
