Cristo Rey Jesuit High School

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School is a Jesuit high school on the near southwest side of Chicago, Illinois, in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago. It is the founding school of the Cristo Rey Network. It was founded in 1996 as a way to help low-income students get an affordable private college preparatory education. The school model that makes this possible was developed in 1995 by Richard R. Murray, who currently has a patent pending on the concept as a business model.
