Cyster Scalpel

Cyster Scalpel are a hard rock band from Clydebank, Scotland formed in 2004. Cyster Scalpel were formed in 2004 by then-high school student Andy 'Anders' McDonald. Influenced by rock and metal bands of the previous decades including Guns N' Roses, Iron Maiden and Mötley Crüe, the subsequent four years saw several musicians join and leave the group until a suitable line-up was formed. Little progress was made in the way of live shows during this time, but the desired sound was honed through a series of home-made demo tapes of songs crafted through the years.
