The Golden Globes Best Screenplay Movie nominees represent the writers who captivated audiences with amazing, first rate scripts that told compelling stories. The five screenwriters nominated for Best Screenplay Motion Picture include writers whose scripts were either adapted from previous material (like a book, a short story or a play) or those whose scripts were completely original. The winners are selected by members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
