De La Salle School

For the school of the same name in Basildon, see De La Salle School. De La Salle Academy is a boys' voluntary aided school under the trusteeship of the De La Salle Brothers and maintained by the Liverpool Education Authority. The school is named after St John Baptist De La Salle, patron saint of educational workers. It purports to offer an education "based on gospel values, enabling young people to reach their full potential and to enjoy the freedom a sound education can give them as full human beings committed to Christ."
