Deniz Barış

Deniz Barış (born July 2, 1977 in Kemah/Erzincan, Turkey) is a footballer. He currently plays for the Turkish Premier Super League club Antalyaspor in the Defensive midfielder position. He is 1.84 meters tall and weighs 79 kilograms. In his youth, Barış played for F.C. St. Pauli, and he had an important role when F.C. St. Pauli was promoted to 1. Bundesliga in 2001. He also played for SpVgg Greuther Fürth in Germany. After his years in F.C. St. Pauli, he attracted the attention of the Gençlerbirliği chairman İlhan Cavcav and he was transferred to Gençlerbirliği.
