Desade

DeSade is a horror punk band from Phoenix, Arizona. DeSade was founded August 1, 1998. The name came about through the idea that, while we may or may not agree with the things he wrote, we believed in the freedom of expression that Marquis de Sade fought to attain, even from his cell. It also reflects the idea that there is a little "Marquis de Sade" inside us all. After several months of writing, re-staffing and writing some more, DeSade played their first show on April 3, 1999. Their second show, April 19, 1999, was recorded from the soundboard and soon became the ￢ﾀﾜLive EP￢ﾀﾝ. In January of 2000 DeSade recorded ￢ﾀﾜPerverse Prayers￢ﾀﾝ which featured the cult hit ￢ﾀﾜBlack Widow￢ﾀﾝ. The EP was successful enough to land DeSade...
