Despot

Despot, also known as Alec Reinstein, is a hip hop rapper signed to Def Jux Records and based in Queens, New York. Despot makes his home in Forest Hills, Queens, where he settled after dropping out of Purchase College. Born and raised in Queens where he currently resides, Despot learned very early on in life how to shake his head at things. A full length album is in the works with the majority of the production being handled by Blockhead along with a few ultra special guests. An upstanding member of the Lo-Lifes crew, Despot does his best to stay fresh and will make a mark that will be very difficult to wash off.
