Dillard

Dillard is a city in Rabun County, Georgia, United States. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 198. Dillard is located at 34°58′29″N 83°23′2″W / 34.97472°N 83.38389°W / 34.97472; -83.38389 (34.974716, -83.384009). According to the United States Census Bureau, Dillard has a total area of 1.5 square miles (3.9 km), all of it land. The city is located in the Little Tennessee River valley immediately south of the North Carolina border and is surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains. John Dillard settled in the area around what is now Dillard with his son, James Dillard, about 1823.
