Drive A

Drive A is an American punk rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States, formed in 2006. The band formed after singer/guitarist Bruno Mascolo and guitarist Jason Nott met outside The Troubadour (Los Angeles) in 2006. They met drummer Cody Root through a mutual friend and bassist Taylor Knowles joined the band after seeing them open for Set Your Goals in Orlando. Jason Nott has stated in "Rock N Roll Experience" that the name Drive A came from, "About 2 & 1/2 years ago when we were kinda starting with a different bass player & we were teaching him how to play one of the songs & we said, "Hey, at this part Drive the A string." so we wrote it down & said that sounds cool, it looked good on paper I guess.".
