Duvall

Duvall is a pop rock band with Christian-oriented lyrics. They were formed in August 2001, including members of the Smoking Popes, who had disbanded in 1998. Founding members were Josh Caterer, Tom Daily, and Mike Felumlee. They recorded their first demos that same month. These songs were recorded at the first session: After recording these demos, Tom left the band and was replaced by John Sewell. At their first show, on October 19, 2001, Eli Caterer of the Smoking Popes joined the band as a guest and later joined as a permanent member. On December 2, 2001, Duvall opened for Tenacious D and Weezer in Madison, WI. They were filling in for Jimmy Eat World, the tour's usual opener, due to them having to do a radio show in Florida.
