Early Monday Morning Show

The Early Monday Morning Show, or EMMS, got its start when Greg Hall gathered up some of his fellow comedians in Detroit during the stand up boom of the 1980s. The group took improvisational comedy, the like of which you would find on Whose Line Is It Anyway?, and combined it with the style of sketch comedy seen on Saturday Night Live and Monty Python. When Hall moved to Baltimore in the late 1990s, he decided to bring the show with him. In 2006 they began their 7th year performing in and around Baltimore, and they pride themselves on being able to adapt their show to any style of venue or audience.
