Electro

Electro (Maxwell "Max" Dillon) is a fictional character that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is a supervillain and an enemy of Spider-Man who gained the ability to control electricity after being struck by lightning while working on a power line. Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, he first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #9 (Feb. 1964). In 2009 he was ranked as IGN's 87th Greatest Comic Book Villain of All Time. While Maxwell Dillon, an electrical engineer and lineman, was repairing a power line, a freak lightning accident caused a mutagenic change that transformed him into a living electrical capacitor.
