Elizabeth Harrison

Elizabeth Harrison (February 21, 1897, Indianapolis, Indiana – December 25, 1955, New York City) was the third of three surviving children of the former U.S. President, Benjamin Harrison, and the only child of his second wife, Mary Scott Lord Dimmick. She graduated from New York University School of Law in 1919 and was admitted to the bar in Indiana and New York. On April 6, 1921, Elizabeth Harrison married James Blaine Walker (January 20, 1889 - January 15, 1978), a grandnephew of Secretary of State, James G. Blaine, a member of her father's cabinet.
