Equatorial Commercial Bank

Equatorial Commercial Bank (ECB), is a commercial bank in Kenya. It is one of the forty-four (44) banks licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya, the national banking regulator. ECB is a member of the Sameer Group of Companies. Equatorial began in 1983 as a finance company and became a commercial bank in 1995. It grew its consumer banking operations with the development of credit cards, internet banking, an ATM network. In the beginning, their niche market was high networth individuals and SMEs.
