Ezio Auditore da Firenze is a fictional character and the main protagonist in Ubisoft's 2009 Renaissance-era action-adventure video game Assassin's Creed II. He is an ancestor of Desmond Miles, and a descendant of Altaïr. He is also the earliest known link between the lineages of "Subject 16" and that of Desmond.
