Fahrenheit 451 is the title of an expected film adaptation of Ray Bradbury's novel of the same name. The project has apparently been under development since 2002, when Frank Darabont was confirmed to be participating in the film's production, and he is currently credited by the Internet Movie Database as director and co-writer. According to a 2003 interview with Bradbury included in a recent printing of the novel and the IMDb, Mel Gibson was at one point attached to the project. Gibson's Icon Productions is listed as one of the production companies.
