From the brilliantly devised opening freeway cataclysm to the worst trip to the dentist's office ever, first time director David Ellis (who would go on to direct the under-rated Snakes on a Plane and Cellular) filled Final Destination 2 with more shocks and awe than any repetitive sequel deserves, and the results are killer.
