Foundation Systems

Foundation Systems Limited was firstly an independent and then more latterly, a specialist UK direct delivery Value Added Reseller (VAR) business with the Systems Union group of companies (which in turn was itself subsequently acquired by Infor Global Solutions in 2006). Foundation Systems acted as a systems integrator delivering a broad software portfolio, based around the core offering of SunSystems, to mid-market organisations, predominantly in the UK. The business was created in 1982 by a team of experienced ex-Olivetti employees based in Norwich, Norfolk, England led in the main by Ray Townsend, Rob Johnson and Peter Dryer.
