Francis Kenny

Francis Kenny A.S.C. is an American cinematographer. Francic Gleig Kenny was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and educated at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts; Hofstra University, Hempstead, New York, New York; and The University of Texas at Austin, Austin, Texas. After completing his education, he began his career shooting documentary films. Kenny was a cinematographer for the documentary, He Makes Me Feel Like Dancin' (1983), which won an Academy Award for Best Documentary (Feature). He has been cinematographer, at times Director of Photography, on numerous films including: Heathers (1988), New Jack City (1991), Coneheads(1993), Harriet the Spy (1996) and She's All That (1999).
