Frank O'Farrell

Francis 'Frank' O'Farrell (born 9 October 1927) is an Irish former football player and manager. Frank O'Farrell played his early soccer in Cork with junior sides Nicholas Rovers, Clapton Celtic and Western Rovers before joining Cork United in 1947, but followed his former Cork teammate, Tommy Moroney to West Ham United in January 1948. A quietly spoken, but nonetheless determined and talented wing-half, O'Farrell was to become a well-respected student of the game.
