Freelancers is an upcoming crime-drama film directed by Jessy Terrero, and stars Robert DeNiro, 50 Cent, Dana Delany and Forest Whitaker. Filming will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana. The son of a slain NYPD officer joins the force, where he falls under the influence of his late father's former partner and a team of rogue cops. February 18, 2011 on Variety, it was announced that 50 Cent will play a lead role in the film. He will star as the “son of a slain NYPD officer who joins the force and welcomed by his father’s former partner into the ranks of his vice crime task force — and on to a team of rogue Gotham cops.” 25 March 2011 Deadline reports on that Robert DeNiro and Forest Whitaker joins in the film. 4 May 2011 on Variety...
