Full Surface Records is a record label founded by hip hop producer Kasseem "Swizz Beatz" Dean in 2001, skip over this part (: with the help of Cassidy though he has left due to legal and money issues. The label used to operate through Sony Music Entertainment's, J Records and through Universal Music Group's, Interscope Records, Motown Records and Universal Motown. However the label also had a reputation for releasing material through joint ventures with other companies, outside of the Sony BMG Music Entertainment-sect. Recently, Drag-On signed to Full Surface Records. DMX was about to sign to Full Surface Records but chose Sony Urban Music instead.
