G. Srinivasan

G. Srinivasan (September 23, 1958 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, South India – May 27, 2007) was a film producer who founded the independent production company Madras Talkies, with his elder brother, the director and screenwriter Mani Ratnam. He produced acclaimed films such as Iruvar (1997), Kannathil Muthamittal (2002), Aayitha Ezhuthu (2004), Yuva (2004) and Guru, released in 2007. He was a practising Chartered Accountant. He was married to Sandhya. His brother is film director Mani Ratnam. His elder brother was film producer G Venkateswaran, who committed suicide in May 2003.
