George Daly

George Daly is a music executive, songwriter, musician, video and music producer and technology inventor, who originally worked as an A&R (Artist & Repertoire) music executive . He has worked with and/or introduced many notable artists, with artists and groups as varied as Janis Joplin, The Tubes, The Cars, Tool, Huey Lewis, and Carlos Santana. Moving from the Washington, DC area to San Francisco in the ‘60’s, Daly befriended Janis Joplin and, due to that link, was eventually hired by Columbia Records as San Francisco Head of A&R during the Clive Davis era.
