Georgetown Hoyas Men's Basketball

The Georgetown University men's basketball team, which, like all sports teams at Georgetown University, is named the Georgetown Hoyas, is a basketball program in the NCAA Division I Big East Conference. Georgetown's first intercollegiate men's basketball team was formed in 1907. John Thompson III, son of the accomplished former coach John Thompson, is the current head coach.
