Georgia Ave-Petworth

Georgia Avenue-Petworth is a Washington Metro station in Washington, D.C., on the Green Line. It is also served by the Yellow Line during off-peak times. Georgia Avenue-Petworth station is located at the border of the neighborhoods of Petworth, Sixteenth Street Heights, and Park View in Northwest. Similar to many other Washington Metro stations, Georgia Avenue-Petworth has catalyzed development in the neighborhood it serves. The District of Columbia Office of Planning has sectioned development proposals into four localities near the station: Park View/Park Morton, Petworth-Metro, Pleasant Plains, and Upshur.
