Get Rich or Die Tryin': Music from and Inspired by the Motion Picture is the soundtrack to the 2005 film Get Rich or Die Tryin'. It was released on November 8, 2005 on G-Unit and Interscope Records. It features artists on the G-Unit label such as 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Olivia and Mobb Deep. In December 2005, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified the album platinum. The album has so far sold over 3 million copies worldwide. The soundtrack was released after 50 Cent's second multi-platinum album The Massacre and 50 Cent became the third rapper to have an album and a film soundtrack at top of the Billboard 200 at the same year.
