Give Me Your Love for Christmas is the thirty first original studio album released by vocalist Johnny Mathis and his third album devoted to holiday music. The third Mathis holiday album differs from his previous two Christmas collections in that it includes only popular holiday songs such as "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas", "Do You Hear What I Hear?" and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" and does not include any traditional Christmas carols or classical music. This album was highly successful in its initial release peaking at #1 on the Billboard album chart, Mathis' first album to reach the top spot since "Heavenly" in 1959.
