Government Center

Government Center is a district in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. It is named for the concentration of Miami-Dade County and state government buildings in the area. The area is located north of the Brickell Financial District, bordered roughly by West Flagler Street to the south, North Miami Avenue to the east, Northwest Third Street to the north, and Northwest Second Avenue to the west. The square on Northwest First Avenue between First Street and Flagler Street, adjacent to the Miami-Dade Cultural Plaza is the center of the neighborhood.
