Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences

The Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS), a school within Harvard University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS), serves as the connector and integrator of Harvard's teaching and research efforts in engineering, applied sciences, and technology. Engineering and applied sciences at Harvard has a long history, beginning with the creation of the Lawrence Scientific School in 1847 (named for donor Abbott Lawrence).
