Idwal Fisher (3 February 1935(1935-02-03) — 5 January 2012(2012-01-05) (aged 76)) was a rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1960s. Fisher was born in Swansea district. At club level he played rugby union (RU) for Swansea RFC, playing in the Back row, and at representative level played rugby league (RL) for Wales, and at club level for Warrington, playing at Second-row, i.e. number 11 or 12. Idwal Fisher won a cap for Wales (RL) while at Warrington in 1963. Idwal Fisher died in Lochmaben, Scotland, having retired to live with his daughter in Lockerbie.
