The album was released in USA in March 1999 for the record company Geffen and peaked at #57 in the Billboard 200. In Europe the CD was made available an import version a few months later and peaked at #2 in the Danish albums chart. In November, the compilation The Greatest Hits was released outside North America. The album was originally released with a remix of "Don't Come Cryin' To Me," a track that was recorded during the Heart of Stone album sessions, but the track was later removed per Cher's personal request.
