Insan is a Bollywood War film, released in January 2005. It has an all star cast including Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Tusshar Kapoor, Esha Deol, Lara Dutta and Koena Mitra in the lead roles. It is a remake of 2002 Telugu film Khadgam starring Prakash Raj and Ravi Teja. The story revolves around an police inspector, Ajit Rathod (Ajay Devgan) who is fighting against corruption in politics, dealing with the Muslim society and fighting terrorism and also bringing order to the society. He will go to any length to insure this, even if it means going against the law or even getting fired. The film did average business at the box office, where it ran for three weeks.
