Jack Spang

Jack Spang is a fictional character in Ian Fleming's 1957 James Bond novel Diamonds Are Forever. He does not appear in the 1971 film adaptation of the novel, which substantially revises the plot and makes Ernst Stavro Blofeld the chief villain. Spang and his brother Serrafimo are the chief antagonists of the novel, in which they run a crime organization called the Spangled Mob, and are involved in diamond smuggling. Under the pseudonym "Rufus B. Saye," Jack Spang operates the London branch of the House of Diamonds, a gem importer/exporter, though casual questioning reveals that "Saye" knows little of the actual stones.
