James Reid

James Reid is the singer and guitarist in the New Zealand band The Feelers. He has two older sisters and two older brothers, one of whom is Donald Reid, also an accomplished songwriter, who has co-written some songs with James and also released his own album. James attended the same primary school, Avonhead Primary, as another member of The Feelers, Hamish Gee. He then went on to intermediate school at Waihi School, Winchester, South Canterbury, then attended Christ's College, Canterbury in Christchurch. During his years at high school James developed an appreciation of music of all types. He studied fine art and film at Canterbury University.
