Janet LaValley

Janet LaValley is an alternative rock singer from Boston, Massachusetts. She is most famous for being the lead singer of local alternative rock band Tribe, which was active from 1985 - 1994. LaValley was highly acclaimed by local critics and was voted Best Female Vocalist three years in a row by The Boston Phoenix After Tribe disbanded in 1994, LaValley went solo (with backing musicians Norm Demoura and Perry L. James), signed up to Columbia Records and went to work on her solo album, entitled "Extraordinary Popular Delusions (and the Madness of Crowds), containing twelve tracks, and produced by herself, Norm Demoura, and Dae Bennett.
