Jarābulus (Arabic: جرابلس Ğarābulus; North Syrian Arabic: Jrāblos) is a Syrian city administratively belonging to Aleppo Governorate. Jarabulus has an altitude of 367 and lies on the western bank of the River Euphrates. It has a population of 25,705. It is located near the Assad lake. The ancient name of the city was Europos (Εὐρωπός).
