Jiang Mianheng

Jiang Mianheng (simplified Chinese: 江绵恒; traditional Chinese: 江綿恆; pinyin: Jiāng Miánhéng; born 1952 in Shanghai) is the son of Jiang Zemin, former General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China. Jiang is one of the co-founders of Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), located in Shanghai. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University, where his father went for a visit in 1997. Jiang also served as one of the head researchers for the Chinese space program.
