John David Washington

John David Washington (born July 28, 1984 in Toluca Lake, California) is an American football running back for the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League. He was signed by the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Morehouse. He is the son of Academy Award and Tony-winning actor Denzel Washington. At the age of nine, Washington appeared as a student in a Harlem classroom in the 1992 feature film Malcolm X, which starred his father Denzel Washington in the title role.
