Johnnie's Foodmaster

Johnnie's Foodmaster, more commonly known as simply Foodmaster, is a chain of eleven supermarkets in the Boston Metro Area. It has its headquarters in Chelsea, Massachusetts. According to Foodmaster's website, John DeJesus Sr. opened his first store in East Cambridge, MA in 1947. Today Foodmaster operates in a grocery marketplace that includes Market Basket, SuperValu's Shaw's and Star Market stores, Whole Foods Markets, Trader Joe's, Delhaize's Hannaford, Royal Ahold's Stop & Shop, a number of smaller, local markets (for example, Butcher Boy), and Super 88.
