Joseph Fil

Lieutenant General Joseph F. Fil, Jr. (b. Portola Valley, California) was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army in June 1976. He is a Distinguished Military Graduate of San José State University. He has served in Army units in the United States, Germany, Belgium and Iraq. His education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Anthropology from San Jose State University, a Masters of Military Arts and Science from the United States Army Command and General Staff College, a Masters of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Masters of Science in National Security and Strategic Studies from the National Defense University.
