La Libertad, Chiapas

La Libertad is a town and one of the 119 municipalities of Chiapas, in southern Mexico. As of 2005, the municipality had a total population of 5,288. It covers an area of 1,964.90 km² and is adjacent to the municipality of Palenque and the state of Tabasco.
